Instrument firmware is the set of instructions that control how your instrument functions. Upgrading your instrument's firmware enhances the ability of your instrument to both take and display measurements e.g. by adding additional measuring options or improving the existing ones.

Warning: vb instruments with module numbers lower than 11500 may not be able to operate with newer firmware versions.
