Instrument firmware is the set of instructions that control how your instrument functions. Upgrading your instrument's firmware enhances the ability of your instrument to both take and display measurements e.g. by adding additional measuring options or improving the existing ones.

Warning: vb instruments with module numbers lower than 11500 may not be able to operate with newer firmware versions. Before you attempt to upgrade your vb instrument please download the firmware descriptions from the tables below to see if your instrument is compatible with the newer firmware.
